Solar® Cardiac Output/BP Module General Information

Adding further flexibility when acuity changes
Marquette's new Cardiac Output/BP Module was designed to compliment the single high
parameter modules supported by the Solar 7000/8000 monitors.
Based on the thermodilution method and the Steward-Hamilton formula, the cardiac output
function offers simple, automatic/manual operation with audible and visual indication of
injection.
Under operator's control, the system averages cardiac output values obtained from up to
five injections. This information can be integrated into the cardiac calculation program
in the Solar 7000/8000 beside monitor.
Blood Pressure Monitoring
The Blood pressure portion of the module is a complete invasive pressure monitoring
system designed to acquire pressure information for display and processing by the Solar
7000/8000 bedside monitor. The module can be used to monitor arterial, central venous,
pulmonary arterial, left or right atrial, femoral arterial, umbilical venous, umbilical
arterial and intracranial pressure.
